Work package 10: Dissemination Of The Results

Activity Type Demonstration activities
     
. To disseminate the knowledge created by the project's work across the Mediterranean countries, Europe and to the appropriate target audience.
. To participate in events of high publicity and added value that will raise public awareness in Europe and the Mediterranean area.
This work package works in two levels, as follows:
. The first level, a major priority for the present work package, to create awareness about the project progress and results at a "Mediterranean level", including all the Mediterranean countries and the entities from which art objects were obtained.
. The second level is to disseminate the information obtained by the project to the European community.
The dissemination activities will not be only informative, but will also be used to receive feedback from interested parties concerning the project's results.
Dissemination will be achieved using multiple, both hi-tech and traditional, tools to ensure that countries with diverse infrastructure will have full access to project information.
. Dissemination via Internet.
. Preparation of a CD ROM with the Encyclopedia for Natural Organic Pigments of the Mediterranean area and supporting materials.
. Sem inars and workshops (both international and Mediterranean).
. Publications (both international and Mediterranean).
. Project presentations (DHA & ARTECH round table presentations).
. Special measure for dissemination to the Mediterranean area.

. The awareness and dissemination of the projects results to policy makers, research community, industry and the general public. Expected result: Broad diffuse of information associated with the achievements of the project.
. Assessment of major efforts for the dissemination of the results to the Mediterranean area. Expected result: Diffusing new materials (pigments, standards) and transferring scientific knowledge and technology, related to the conservation of the cultural heritage, to the Mediterranean countries.
. Detailed dissemination of knowledge obtained by the project to the Mediterranean partners and area. Expected result: Rendering Mediterranean countries capable of applying state of the art techniques for the conservation of their cultural heritage.

 

For STREPs/STIPs each WP must relate to one (and only one) of the following three possible Activity Types: RTD/Innovation activities, Demonstration activities, Management activities.
Milestones are points where major results have successfully been achieved as the basis for the next phase of work, or which serve as control points at which decisions are needed; for example concerning which of several technologies will be adopted as the basis for the next phase of the project.
